During design and selection, if arc equipment is chosen for heat treatment tasks with process temperatures within 950°C, it will result in capacity redundancy and increased energy consumption. The RXG-60-7 box-type industrial electric heating furnace adopts resistance heating, and the matching of its power configuration with the furnace chamber volume directly affects the heating time and temperature field uniformity.
Insufficient power will prolong the heating time, while excessive power will cause fluctuations in the furnace temperature field; both will increase the workload of operation and maintenance adjustments. During selection, the furnace chamber volume should be matched according to the maximum part size and single-batch weight, and the effective power demand corresponding to the loading quantity should be calculated. For normalizing, quenching, annealing, and tempering processes under natural atmosphere or protective atmosphere, it is necessary to confirm the compatibility between the furnace atmosphere type and the heating elements to avoid atmosphere-induced reduction of element service life.
It is recommended to clarify the upper limit of process temperature, typical loading dimensions, and single-batch weight at the selection stage, and to verify the furnace chamber volume and power configuration accordingly. If the process temperature remains below the equipment rated value for a long time, evaluate whether the power configuration needs adjustment to reduce energy consumption; if the loading quantity fluctuates greatly, pay attention to the impact of temperature field uniformity on heat treatment quality and reserve adjustment margin in operation and maintenance.
